How the Gadget Finder works
The Finder uses fixed quiz rules and a keyword index of published Gadget Audit coverage. It returns links to real articles and product sections—never generated answers.
2 · Published coverage only
Results come from Gadget Audit’s real article and product index. Every result links to the published page or product section it represents.
3 · Honest empty state
When the current index has no match, the Finder says so instead of inventing a product, price or recommendation.
No microphone access
The Finder uses typed choices and text search only. It does not request microphone permission or record audio.
Corrections and accountability
Finder entries follow the same Correction Policy as articles. A material error must be corrected and logged; commercial partners cannot buy placement in quiz or search results. See the full Editorial Policy.
