A deal is published only when it clears every standard below. If it doesn't clear, it doesn't ship.
The standards
01Genuine reduction: the current price must sit verifiably below a documented baseline—a previous verified price or another defensible historical reference.
02Exact product match: model, capacity, color and bundle confirmed on the retailer page. No lookalike listings.
03Checked at the source: the retailer page is checked directly, with an absolute timestamp—never a feed claim alone.
04Honest classification: every deal is labeled a genuine drop, a normal fluctuation or marketing. The label is never inflated.
05Urgency earns its words: “Ends soon” appears only with a verified end time. No manufactured countdowns, no false scarcity.
06Editorial independence: deals are editorial picks, never paid placements. A brand cannot buy placement or a classification. We never sell prominence.
07Corrected in the open: price errors are corrected and materially logged on the corrections page.
What we never publish
- Discounts computed against inflated reference prices.
- Deals on products we would not recommend at full price without saying so.
- Coupons or codes we have not verified at checkout.
- Any offer where the final price is unclear.
How this relates to our method
